Micromax has been busy launching slurry of phones off-late. The company literally 'reinvented' itself recently and now hones an all-new promotional tag-line, one that involves "nuts, guts and glory". Clearly, change is in the air and people are loving it, if the company is to be gone by. In a bid to offer its consumers more options, Micromax is set to launch one more handset on May 16.
"We will launch a new range in the Canvas series, on May 16," a source close to the company told Online. "The smartphone under this range will be priced at under Rs 9,000," the source added.
Although details about this new smartphone from Micromax are scarce as of the moment, sources have told us that it would likely come with a 5.5-inch screen and an octa-core processor inside. This phone would further have 3 gigs of RAM.
Micromax recently launched the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro in India.
